I'm new to the world of blogging - just started when I signed up for a photography class that required that we post our homework assignments to this blog site. Once my photography classes are done, I plan to work on this personal blog I had to create when I became a member.
In the meantime you can read my profile and just know that I'm passionate about learning, reading, writing and capturing the moments of life with my camera. Therfore, I'm also an avid scrapbooker - it's the best way to tell a story - with pictures and words.
Anyone who enjoys scrapbooking definitely needs to look into getting a Cricut machine if you don't already have one. It's amazing what these machines are capable of doing! And if you don't make scrapbooks, but you enjoy other crafts - there are so many projects that start with using this machine!
I first learned about the wonderful world of Cricut machines last year and finally took the plunge to purchase one of my very own this May at the Scrapbook Expo in Del Mar. I'm still trying to learn all I can do with the machine and recently purchased some additional cartridges when they were on sale at Michael's.
I just learned that Cricut has released its 100th cartridge and to celebrate they are giving away 20 of the new cartridges per week for the next 5 weeks! The cartridge is called Winter Wonderland - just in time for the winter season. I hope I win a cartridge! Check it out:
